can i legally quikdeed my home to my son? currently i am not behind on payments but i want to prevent a foreclosure in the future---state --georgia--there is possibly a small amt of equity left--does that matter. please give all info i need to know. thankyou---anna

You can "legally" do it. It just won't stop the foreclosure and would likely be a waste of time. Further, doing things like that is a good way to make sure the lender won't work with you in the future, among other negative consequences.
