Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I signed a quick claim deed paper with my ex in exchange with somethings she was to do. She has failed to do any of those things and has never filed that quick claim deed paper with the county. How can I rescind my signature or void that quick claim deed?

There is no such thing as a "QUICK CLAIM DEED". Do you mean QuitClaim deed? I haven't seen your written contract with her (one would never transfer real estate based on a verbal agreement) or the deed (or your divorce papers) so there is no way to answer you without reading those.

Deeds as a general rule cannot be rescinded. I am sure the lawyer who drafted the deed for you told you that.
