Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
bf got ticket going 82 on ga highway for 55/65. on ticket says appear in court otherwise you will be arrested.
what will happen to him in court and what can he expect his fines to be?
will he be jailed for something like this?

He can, at least, expect fines of several hundred dollars and sharp increases in insurance rates for "super speeder" violations. If he has a recent history of violations, it could be worse. While jail is unlikely, no one here knows his record, if any. Time for a good traffic lawyer who practices in the county.
