Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

Broken Red Light Laws

Faulty red light in front of school, I had the red but all four sides before me treated it as a four way stop, so did I. I was turning left. I stopped waited for the next person to go after stopping. Left signal on, stopped, and thn turned. I was hit head on airbags deployed in my car. I was hit, and was the most injuried. I got the ticket. The 3rd car involved from the truck hitting me the her said I stopped like everyone. In the end the light on woman that hit me was not flashing but flickering green as a shorting out bulb. I didn't know or could see the green The light I had ina school zone at 7:45am was flashing red. THE CAR WAS COMPLETLY TOTALLED IN AT A FAULTY LIGHT IN AND DURING SCHOOL HOURS!!! The posted speed zone is 35 my ticket was wrong at 40. Should I be at fault, and should she not be ticketed for speeding in a school zone with faulty lights????

Re: Broken Red Light Laws

How is it that you were charged for speeding

when the alleged violation, as described, involved a disregard of a traffic control device which was working improperly. If the facts are as

claimed you should probably go to court and plead

not guilty.
