Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

Entrapment

Instead of turning right at a shopping center I kept going in the turn lane to turn right at the intersection ahead. The two police cars were in a gas station one behind a building and one behind tall hedges neither in site from the road. One officer ran out to the road to flag us down with a whistle before we passed. I always thought the police officers had to be in plan site to pull you over. I took pictures of the area for evidence but I don’t know if this is actually entrapment or not. I read entrapment was if they actually made you do something illegal that you were not going to do. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Entrapment

It would not be entrapment if you were doing something illegal completely independent if any police and they subsequently caught you. Police have to be in plain sight for 500 feet to pull you over for speeding.
