I received a speeding ticket but the license plate on the ticket is not mine. Do I have a chance to have the ticket dismissed?

Maybe, but probably not. That's likely an amendable defect. When your lawyer brings it up (and you should talk to one) it is likely the officer will issue a new citation or the solicitor will simply charge you by accusation. You probably don't win with a "clerical error" defense unless you can prove other errors.
