Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

side swiped by a utility construction flat-bed trailer in 10/16/01

Due to a MVA, the current Atty. has settled my case for under the amount of the Doctor bills which is 20k+, I have a long term disability, and was also on the anti-inflam meds Vioxx, which I was told to stop taking by a Cardiologist.[Due to the Manufacturer pulling the medication off the market]. My question is, the current Atty said he cannot withdraw this amount based on a past conversation we had about the settlement.I never gave him an amount but trusted he would be in my favor and settle with an amount to take care of as all the medical bills and my long term pain and suffering.Especially now that I have been taking the vioxx for over two years + with having an extreme amount of pressure in my chest during, and more so after my regimen.I have been diagnoised with a herniated disc, siactica, and nerve damage [on my right side]. Please Help Me.

Sincerely,
