Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

I am the administrator of my mother's estate. She lived and died in Georgia, I live in Mississippi, my brother lives in Georgia. Since he lives much closer to her property he and I would like to change the administrator to him. How can we do this?

In priciple, it's simple; the paperwork is another matter. You apply to the probate court where the estate is being administered for a substitute administrator.
