Estate - transfer of a vehicle

My diseased wife's vehicle title is in her name. This is the only property she soley owned. It's value is very low so I do not want to go through probate. Is there a way I can transfer the car to our son or donate the vehicle to charity? Thank you.

Without more facts I can't give a complete answer, but your local tag office should have a state form that allows transfer of a motor vehicle where there is no will or probate that may let you put it in your name or your son's. If she has no other property, no will, and no debts, that may be an option for you.
