Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My father has POA for my mother who has Alzheimer's. My father who is ill wants me to have POA for him (Ga. General Durable POA for Property and Financial Effective Immediately). Will that give me POA for my mother also or is there something else needed? I am not seeking POA for health care reasons. Thanks.
