warranty deed

Warrantty deed was signed in 1975 by 8 children. Father died in 1994. The land is free and clear. Taxes are paid every year. How do you go about getting individual deeds to this land? Survivorship deed was did by one brother in 1996 stating that he and his brother was the only two left for the land. What is the next proper procedure for the state of georgia

Your statement of the transactions is unclear. It sounds like an extensive search of the title records of the county in which the land is located is needed.

I agree with Mr. Field. The first thing to do would be to run a title search on the property. Only then could one get a handle on the ownsership of this property and answer the question of whether an estate is indeed involved.
