Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

The Will

On the will my uncle left his houses to his brother, sister and neices and nehews. The houses is to be sold and the money is to be divided equal. He left to executors to make sure that everything is done right, but the two executors is not getting with us about selling the houses. What do we do because there have been people wanting to buy.

Re: The Will

Consult with a local attorney. You have certain rights under the will. If the executor is not fulfilling his/her legal obligations, I'm sure your Probate Court judge would like to hear about it.

Re: The Will

There are several options in this situation, but which are available to you depends on whether you are a co-executor or only a beneficiary under the will. It also depends on what, exactly, the will says, and how much store you place in your future relationship with the uncooperative executors.

I suggest you confer with an attorney experienced in probate litigation, inform him of all facts, and provide him with all relevant docuements.
