Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

I was in a accident while working 2 1/2 yrears ago. I was rear ended by by a semi-truck. I have had 7 surgeries. My injuries are listed as: Brian injury, grand mal seizures, broken jaw injury, vision loss, broken nose, herninated disc, nerve damage to my bladder and erection dysfunction. I'm 30 yr olds and I'm 11 different medications. Anyway, my physician wanted to perform anther surgery but he wanted to take the smaller steps first. In the meantime I asked Work comp for a advance, off of my disabilty ratings (in Georgia) to avoid forecloser on my family's home. So the adjuster so no and that I needs to settle. My attorney said thats fine but in process he wanted to go ahead and start the the MSA process because he stated that process can take up to a year. The doctor that wants to perform another surgery wanted to send me to a pain management physician before he consider the surgey. Now on the adjuster's email she informed my attorney that she had already started MSA with Gould & Lamb. And she wanted to put that pain referral on 'hold' because it could make cost prohibited to settle with MSA. Of cousre my attorney said hell no and I will be seeing this pain doc next week. Which I have no problem with but I'm suffuring finacially in the meantime and all I get is 200 per week from W/C so things are more than tough. What do you think? Thanks HD
