Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

I have been at this job fo r nearly 18 years and now have repetitive motion injury in my wrist and thumb joints. The owners of my company told me that I need to take responsiblity for my injury and need to make life changing dscission as to my health. in other words they want my to take a lower paying job and suffer the concequenses. what can I do?
