Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

I was asked to settle my wc case by the insurance company, but my employer does not seem to want to so. I have already been determined disabled by SS. what recourse do I have?

Re: workmen's compensation settlement

It is extremely important that you

speak with an attorney before accepting any settlement offer from the insurance company. You may be sacrificing medical and income benefits to which you may be entitled, and you will more than likely have to resign your employment - potentially leaving you unemployed, unable to get a new job, and unable to pay for the medical treatment you need.

Please speak to an attorney about the specifics of your situation

before making a decision to settle or signing anything for your employer or the insurance company.
