Legal Question in Administrative Law in Greece

I have changed my first and last name when I became a U.S. citizen back in 2001 in Ca. I need a document stating my name change apostilled to be used in Greece where I live now, along with my marriage certificate that has already been apostilled and in my possession. More than 6 months ago I requested the document from Department of Homeland Security and received a CD with a cover letter, one document with signature and one without. This printed document can not be apostilled from the State Department in Washinton DC. since it requires "an original document with the impressed Seal and Signature of the official at the Department of Homeland Security". I emailed DHS with no help. What can be done about this?

Hello! I am not sure that I understand well the issue. You had a document stating that you've changed your name but due to the lack of the proper signatures, State Department refused to apostille it? If yes, I believe that the only way is to apply for a new document at the Greek DHS or better at the Center for Citizen Service (KEP - www.kep.gov.gr).
