Legal Question in Construction Law in Guyana

My landlord brought two men to do some repairs to my home. One of the men dropped a piece of wood on my car windscreen and broke it. Who is responsible to pay for the repairs to my car? My landlord or the worker.

Dear Sir / Madam,

If the home and car is insured, the concerned insurance company is responsible for conducting the survey and granting you the cost of repairs, provided the premiums till date have been paid to the insurance company till the date of accident and damage.

If there is no insurance cover, you can only request the landlord to complete the repair work, and you will have to pay for the car windscreen damage.
