Credit counseling company ruined our credit

Involved with CREDITCARE CREDIT COUNSELING INC (CCCC)ON 12/02. Paid $1,017.00 up front and $20.oo month thereafter. Had good credit history/rating on 12/02. Now, because of late payments and promising to re-age, we now have POOR CREDIT. What can we do to restore our good credit rating? What can we do to get our money back from this company?

From your short inquiry, I think the damages you sustained from the use of CreditCare are actionable. There are several things you can do to explain late payments on your credit report. First the three credit reporting agencies must be contacted and you must obtain their credit report dispute forms. I can help explain the process if you give me more detailed information.
