Legal Question in Family Law in Hawaii

Jurisdiction

I got divorced in the state of Hawaii and granted full physical custody of my 6 year old and 50 percent legal. I now reside in phoenix arizona. How do I change jurisdiction to be in arizona. My X treatens me constantly regarding taking me to court for anything, because he knows that I have to pay all the expenses of travling back to Maui just to prove that I am innocent. How can I change this, I am so tired of being treatened. I am the custodial parent, I should be able to have jurisdiction here in arizona, so, if he wants to cause problems, he can come up her and have the expense of travel and lodging. Please help me.

Re: Jurisdiction

Go see a family/domestic lawyer in Phoenix. Usually, jurisdiction over minor children lies in the state where the child is located.
