Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Hawaii

On a post op post mastectomy visit to administer saline to my expander, the doctor with out discussing or saying anything to me, removed my nipple! I did not know this until showering the next day did I see my nipple was removed. I almost fainted-litteraly! It was devistating. I knew nothing about the proceedure and signed no consent. Is what he did right?

Your physician should have advised you that he planned to remove your nipple, unless for some reason it had to be removed on an emergent basis. I am sorry to hear of this.
