Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

signing rights for step parents

I have 50/50 custody with my x-husband for our child. My X-husband is remarried but his wife doesn't have legal signing rights for my son since I am the natural mother. I am looking for a form that will allow her to sign any forms relating to my son (medical, school, etc.) without giving up any parental responsibility on my half. I can't find it on the web and i am unsure wherelse to look. Can you please tell me the name of the form I am looking for?

Limited power of attorney. You will need to be careful about how much of your parental powers to permit her to exercise. This is one of those situations that isn't that complicated if done right from the start but can otherwise be a real mess latter on. I strongly suggest that you contact an attorney; paying for a few hours of time could save you alot of trouble in the long run.
