Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

taking minor on vacation

We are driving our family this summer from IL to AZ and we may bring one of the kids' friends who is 16 yrs old and we do not really know her parents. Is there anything I should know or do, such as have the family sign a waiver, etc.? Any advice would be apreciated.

I would get a notarized limited power of attorney. What if he gets hurt, and a family member needs to sign off on treatment?
