Legal Question in Immigration Law in Idaho

''want to get out''

I've married to a US citizen single dad for 4 yrs $ got my green card last year, (though I don't have the plastic yet)we lived in the middle east since i got married & took care of his 3 kids. I feel I'm a prisoner here can't get a job & stay home the whole time,I'm just tired of dealing with his kids & ex-wife. He kept his financial status from me, I am not included in financial planning. I don't feel I'm a wife, but I feel he's just using me like a first class maid. I'm thinking of leaving or running away from him this summer & moved to California to get a job, live alone & be happy but what about my conditional status? Is it okay to be separated and wait for 2 years to divorce him & file for the uncoditional status of my residency? Please help before I lost my sanity. Thank you for reading my letter.

Re: ''want to get out''

In order to remove the conditions on your residence without jointly filing with your spouse, you must generally prove that deportation or removal from the United States would result in extreme hardship; your marriage was entered into in good faith; or during the marriage you were battered by or subjected to extreme cruelty committed by the citizen or permanent resident spouse.
