Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Idaho

My sisters' will

My Sis away 2 weeks ago, but I don't know her password to be able to access the will she told me she had with your company.

It is important that I obtain her will, because there are some unscroupulous people who are saying they are the only heirs to her estate. My sisters' will says that she wants her children to be taken care of, and I want to create a trust for them. but the''friend'' is saying she is the only one mentioned in the will. Please help me to access her will, so that I can take that to probate, and the boys will then be taken care of. I live in a different State, so I cannot be there to watch over everything. But I am doing the best I can from here. The kids are minors.

She named me, as the Executor, to make sure no one could try to take things away from the boys.

I would send you her death certificate, but her death was suspicious. She was under 40 yrs. old and the autopsy showed nothing out of the norm. The toxicology tests will take about 12 wks to complete. Please help me to help my Sisters' children, PLEASE? They need some sense of stability now, and can't have it because of greedy liars! Please help me to help the boys. The will would put an immediate end to the misery that the family is enduring now. Thanks

Re: My sisters' will

I do not know what company your sister had her will prepared by. Typically a person takes possession of the original of the will. So they typically would not leave it with a "company." I don't know of any organization that holds wills and requires a password to access it. Counties in Washington do have will repositories, and that is where you should check. You can force some of these issues if you have to by filing an intestate probate of her estate. If no will is presented the intestate rules (assuming she has no husband) would have the estate go to her children in equal shares. You should consult an attorney who does probate work in the county in which your sister died.
