Hello. I am assuming that your question pertains to an employee returning to work after testing positive for Covid-19. To my knowledge, there is no Illinois State law as to private companies that an employee cooperate with contact tracing. However, it does appear that many companies have established this as a "return to work" mandate. In regard to State of Illinois or Municipal jobs, this may be the case. That being said, one should seek legal representation in this regard to protect their employment status.
