Legal Question in Administrative Law in Illinois

Is it legal to be a certified caregiver in Illinois? I took an online caregiver course and I am now certified. I am not a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), but I am a caregiver.

Is it legal to be a caregiver and go into the homes of senior citizens as a caregiver and not a CNA in Illinois? Are caregivers legal in Illinois, without being licensed as a CNA?
