Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
I am 70 years old and on disability. I have a home wiorth around 90000.00 with a 43000.00 morgage I owe about 34000.00 in credit card bills which i am paying the minumum payment each month. I actually only have 1600.00 a month coming in from the dieability. I cant keep paying these credit card bills and I cant keep using them to make ends meet I have a 17 years old car and a 30 year old truck of course paid for, Will I have to sell my car and old truck or my house.This is really upsetting to me and i want to do the right thing. Also what is this Obama stimulas deal to help people over their heads in debt will that help or should I file Bankrupsy?
