Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

What to do??

We have approx 35,000 in debt, 1 reposession, we recently sold our home to avoid forclosure. We are several months behind on remaing debt, almost all are in collections. Also have 2 medical bill judgements. Should we continue with chapter 7 or is their hope with debt consolidation, only have 1 cc worth approx 3,000.
