Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Court Judgement then bank account frozen then BK

Recently I had a judgement placed against me for a repo'd car. About 3 weeks later, my checking account was frozen. Prior to the judgment,(court date), I sent a copy of the court papers to the lawyer who would eventually be handling my BK. Should he have known by not filing BK asap that my checking account would be frozen? I've since filed for BK and he says that because the judgement was entered before the BK, I may not be able to have it discharged.

The money owed on the judgement should be dischargeable. This means you would not have to pay it back. Judgements might not be dischargebale if the suit, not just the judgement, arose after filing bankruptcy.

I would need additional details to give a more definite answer.
