Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

What does "25% Net Revenue Received" actually mean?

I sell shirts at $20, it costs me $10. So should the 25% come from the $10 or the total cost of $20?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. "25% Net Revenue Received" makes no sense, standing alone. Did the parties mean "25% of Net Revenue Received?" How do they define the term "net revenue?" Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice after a review of all pertinent documents.
