Buying Name Brand from China, selling in USA

Can I buy name brand clothing like Ralph Lauren, Lacoste etc, from manufacturers in China or India and sell them online or in my store here in USA? The manufacturing company claims to sell authentic items, not knock offs.

Hello. I caution you to verify that these items are name brand and not

imitation. If they are imitation, you could get sued big time, in my opinion. You may want to contact the manufacturers and get clearance from them, before you sell. At all times,

regardless of the potential profit, you want to protect yourself legally.

Will be happy to discuss this further

and in more detail.

Even if the items are "authentic" in the sense that they are manufactured by the same factory to the same standards as the branded clothing, if the items are sold without a license to do so (which would seem to be likely in the scenario you describe), then your sales of the products could get you in big trouble.
