Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

buying a business

I have been working on buying a bar/restaurant I have verbal and e-mail commitments from them.Now they are backing out. I have been working with lawyers and accoutants for the last month. No contracts have been signed. Is there any basis for a law suit?

You should ask the lawyer with hwom you have been working with. He or she has the most knowledge of the details and should be bale to give you far more accurate advise than what you can get on this forum with the information provided. Good luck
