Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
llc
Invested in a start up business through my LLC. Have since discovered that my LLC at the time had lapsed. I have reestablished a new LLC and want to shift the investment to the new LLC. What are/should be legal ramifications? Is it as easy as changing the name on the stock certificates? Is there some process needed to be done? Thank you.

Simply stated, consult an attorney and an accountant and provide them with all of the specifics.
