Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

Regd lawsuit

We are 2 working a small new

construction business and we

incorporated. However we

sometimes get people off the

street to help and we pat them

cash for small help. A helper

brought his brother along and

decided to help his bro and

now claims he broke his wrist

while helping. He has a past

history of accidents and

lawsuits. Now he put a

workmans comp claim against

me and my partner. I need to

know if we will loose our

business or is this person can

be ignored since he is

scamming us for money? There

is a hearing. Do we represent

ourselves or is it best to have

a lawyer??? My tel# is (773)

589-2310 thank you!

Re: Regd lawsuit

Best to get an attorney for this. If you have workman's comp insurance you shouldn't have to lose your business, but it is a good idea to get a hold of a good workman's comp attorney.
