Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

I dont think its right to let someone tan for 30min if you havent gone for like

I had a question about going to a tanning bed. I went tanning like 5 days ago and I havent been tanning in more then three months. Well the lady let me go in a tanning bed for 30 min, without me knowing that it was that strong and my whole body was pink and I couldnt sleep for two days because it hurt so badly. I wanted to know if there is a law for tanning long periods of time. If you dont tan on a regular day basis are they supposed to tell you or not let you tan for a long time? My whole body pealed and even after it pealed once, it still again is pealing another time. And I dont think that is healthy. I am afraid that I am going to get skin cancer, and I just think that I should have been ask or warned about it. My chest is still hot red and I dont think that is a good sign. So if you can tell me if there is any action I should take about going with this, or about telling someone. Is this a case I should proceed in doing and because there could be others that are burning and having a big risk on getting cancer. Please write and tell me what you think Thanks

I don't see that there is any time limitation, but I see the warning which is required to be posted is pretty clear:

"DANGER ‑ Ultraviolet radiation. Follow instructions. As with natural sunlight, overexposure can cause eye injury and sunburn, repeated exposure may cause premature aging of the skin and skin cancer. Medications or cosmetics applied to the skin may increase your sensitivity to ultraviolet light. Consult a physician before using lamp if taking any medication or if you believe yourself especially sensitive to sunlight." Was this posted and/or provided to you? I also see with a quick Google search that in response to the simple query "cancer tanning bed" there are more than 59,000 websites. So, I'm thinking you should like totally take some like personal responsibility for your own health.
