Status hearing
What are some of the reasons why a judge would strike a secheduled status hearing?
Re: Status hearing
A judge may strike a scheduled status hearing for
the following reasons:
The judge may have to attend a judicial conference and cannot preside over the court
on the date of the scheduled status hearing.
The attorneys agree to continue the status hearing to another date.
There is a trial in progress on the date of the scheduled status hearing.
The court has already scheduled a pretrial conference within 1 week of the scheduled status
hearing and for judicial economy strikes the scheduled status hearing.
