is it legal to sell a product seen on

a website, on my website for more

before i purchased it

Ie macbook refurbished 1000

my website 1200

i havent yet bought the macbook

There is no problem offering a product for sale even if you do not own it, if there is a reasonable expectation that you will be able to obtain it and fulfill your side of the bargain when you make a sale. There are many companies that use dropshippers and own nothing themselves.

However, it is critical that you make sure you have the ability to deliver what you sell. If not, you may be liable for fraud or even theft. Even if you have good intentions, if it turns out badly, it may look like you had no plans to fulfill your obligations. Good intentions may be very hard to prove.
