Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

Ownership

I purchased a plasma TV from an online retailer based in NY. I recieved the tv about 16 days later as opposed to the 3-5 days i was promised. About two weeks later i recieved another tv from a different warehouse than the previous one. The second tv has been in my possession for 45 days. I took it out of the box, mounted it in my bedroom and there it has been for the 45 days. I recently recieved a phonecall from the retailer saying they made a mistake and want me to pay for the tv or take it to a freight company and pay to ship it back and they will reemburse me. What are my legal obligations here? I mean, I came into possession of the tv legaly, it was delivered to my home, i signed the delivery acceptance forms and from what I can gather the have no bill of sale for the second tv nor do i.

Re: Ownership

If you do not return the TV you can be sued for conversion as the TV was sent to you in error. A reasonable person would know that they didn't intend to give you a TV. If a bank transfers a large amount of money into your account in error and you refuse to return it, you will go to jail.
