Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

unauthorised credit charge

dear sir/madam, I cancelled my membership with above approx one year ago, one month ago I noticed a charge from them on my visa acct, I sent an email to them re this and had no reply, then about 1 week later got a parcel with what I am assuming is dvd's inside, I will not open the package and take to the post office and send 'return to sender', I have a printout from my computer stating on my online acct that the acct is closed, also the charge on my visa sent my balance over the limit and I was charged fees for it, they have recently sent me mail asking me to become a member again/to renew my membership, could I take legal action against them for this and under what law?, thank you, A--name removed--

Re: unauthorised credit charge

Based on the facts as stated, you may have a cause of action under the consumer fraud statute. I would be glad to discuss this matter with you.
