Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

Consumer Rights

Three years ago, I received financing from Ford Credit to purchase a vehicle from my then girlfriend. She has been making the payments on the loan since its inception. I tried to get the loan transferred to her, but she was denied. She refuses to seek financing from other companies. I do not want the vehicle, and I do not want to make payments on the remaining balance if the vehicle is sold. What can I do to protect myself from this woman?

Not much you can do but hope she continues to make payments.
