Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

doctor told us to give discount on my 10% apporved charges before surgery but laterchanged his mind and it end up in court thru summon, I want to pay discounted bill, but doctor don't want to resond.The original bill was $545 and then added

$ 262 for collection charges now they are asking $786 + cost+attorney fees. what I should do?
