2nd sexual offense

my brother was acussed of raping a 13 minor. he has been in jail for over a month. they still have not indidted him. How long does he have to stay in there before the indidted him? He has also been sleeping on the floor jail holds about500 but they have 1000 inmates. I was told that after 30 days they have to release him if they have no bed for him or have not indidted him for the charge.

hearing by now. He needs a lawyer to represent

him for the purpose of having his case advanced.

Your brother cannot be held for the length of time you have stated unless he has consented for the state to do so. These are his speedy trial rights.
