Class one felony
My boyfriend was arrested in 1996 for attempted unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Cocaine. a class one felony. He fled to mexico and recently returned and was arrested. what kink of charges is he facing and what kind of sentencing should we expect?

Your boyfriend is facing the same charge he was in 1996. The state may also charge him with a violation of bail bond. Your question as to what kind of sentence to expect is premature. The state must prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, which may not be so easy after nine years.
