Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Court Supervision

I was sentenced with no conviction and court supervision for 18mos for poss of alcohol as a minor. I was then arrested and sentenced with no conviction and court supervision for 12mos. Was this actually a violation of my suprevision? I have scheduled a hearing to get these two incidents expunged, do you forsee any problems? It has been two years since I have been off supervision for both cases.

Re: Court Supervision

You should be able to expunge both cases. Good luck.

Re: Court Supervision

Hello. The first incident occurred when you were a minor, so in my opinion it should have no effect upon the second incident which occurred when presumably you were an adult. Based upon the facts that you posted, I do not see a problem getting the expungment, but you should have an attorney do this for you. I do not suggests that you try doing this on your own.
