Your daughter should contact an attorney right away. She should speak to the attorney before speaking to the police. Please have her call me if she would like a free consultation.

Your daughter must not talk to the police! You must be strong enough to tell the police that your daughter will not be making any statements or answering any questions upon advice of legal counsel. We have the 5th Amendment for a reason. The police are not interested in "the truth"". Do not fall for their scare tactics. If you follow my advice, you will not need to hire an attorney. I have 37 years of criminal defense experience throughout Missouri and Illinois. Follow my advice.
