Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

What law jargon should I use when submitting a motion for relief of a judgement concerning a criminal case where the counsel has abused her client's defense by providing ineffective counsel? How am I suppose to write this including the facts and proof that she actually did provide ineffective counsel. What I really would like to know is, how can I write a persuasive motion which micmics the way a lawyer would write that very same motion.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but if you can write a motion "which micmics the way a lawyer would write that very same motion" then I wasted three years in law school and 13 years in practice.

But in all seriousness, (1) you could try to find a similar document from another similar case; or (2) go to your local law library and get some help from the reference librarian. Those two suggestions should get you started.
