Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Local detective calls you
I have just been contacted by a nearby suburban police detective where i used to work. He said that he just wants to ask me some questions. Is there anything I should or should not answer?

Re: Local detective calls you
I wouldn't talk to him at all until you have talked to a lawyer first. What you say to the detective could get you in big-time trouble. Also, you should hire a local criminal lawyer who deals with the police department in question on a regular basis.
