Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I have moved in to a trialer park rent to own. When I moved in they showed me the title to a trailer and said that was the trailer I was buying. A 1968 New Moon I even have the tax papers that show this is the trailer I am buying. But the trailer is someone else's.

Now the trailer park said that I am buying a Sky Line 1971.

Can I get the trailer park for frud?

Can't say - not enough facts: did you sign a contract when you moved in? It should have specified what you would be renting, and buying. It may also provide for their right to substitute, or other things. If you signed nothing, that is also a problem. Where there's a contract, written or not, the first question is what are its terms and conditions. What did you sign on for (not just the year/model) and what were both your and their rights and responsibilities. It's not unusual for a trailer to be owned by a third party -- the trailer park could be the seller's agent to rent and/or sell it. Too many unknowns here. Sorry but you're welcome to add facts that could help us help you.

This is not meant as a definitive answer but a general narrative to assist you in heading in the right direction. Any law cited or referred to specifically or generally may or may not apply to a specific set of facts. We nevertheless hope this is of some help to you.
