Obstructing justice.

i was pulled over in a car with two friends by some detectives when the cops pulled us over i attempted to swallow the cannabis. the police saw this and told me to spit out i did after being told twice and being in a choke hold now im being charged with possesion of less than 0.5 of cannabis and obstructing justice a class 4 felony. this is my second arrest for possession of cannabis. unfortunately i cant afford a lawyer at this time and have court for the second time after asking for a continuance in my first court date and receiving more time. can i get another continuance to get more money to afford a lawyer?

each court is different. Some will allow you another continuance, while some may appoint you a public defender. It all depends on who you get.
