probation an option for a first time burglary

My boyfriend was arrested for possestion of a stolen motor vehicle and then was arrested for residential burglary once they had his prints. Since it was his first offense they let him go to the bootcamp program. he was kicked out of there for writing a poem about a drill instructor that his couselor gave him permission to write. Is it possible for him to get probation still or what are his options

The general rule is that once a person is granted boot camp, failure to successfully complete the camp results in serving the entire sentence that was imposed with the boot camp option. It would appear that perhaps there might be an administrative appeal regarding the reasons for being terminated from the camp. This would be an internal appeal within the prison system.
